I love the variety of king cakes as well as the other Carnival season items: books, jewelry, hair accessories, potholders, etc. Every year I find something new.

This is my first Mardi Gras season since moving to New Orleans and I bought my first ever king cake here. After 30+ minutes of deliberation I settled on the Dragon Claw king cake from Caluda's. It was delicious and I can't wait to try more cakes this season. This hub is a great concept, the employees were very helpful and spent over 10 minutes helping me decide.

Finally, there's a spot where there is multiple selections of King Cakes to choose from. Will definitely go back to grab a few different kinds I haven't tried before. This time I chose the Carnival from Bywater Bakery.

Great spot that has a ton of king cake options - all in one place. If you’re looking for Gluten Free, they have multiple options. They also sell other local products like crawfish sausages and boudin cake, and a small selection of Mardi Gras decorations.

Now we all know that king cake calories don’t count! That being said, with only a few days left until Fat Tuesday, I finally made my way to the hub. One of my favorites, Marguerite’s, is sold here; their wedding/ almond extract icing is what stands out from the rest. There was a line of about 30 people when I arrived at 8:15a. They do not open until 8:30a but once they open, the lines move quickly. The layout of the hub is similar to a grocery store where one can walk around to shop and pay at a table. Easy! They also sell cakes by Caywood & Randazzo’s, Caluda’s, Nocca, a boudin one, a gluten free one, and many more. I will definitely be back.

A must stop during Mardi Gras season for the best local king cakes in varying flavours. But to get there early as they sell out.

Oh my God! King cakes are the best! Why not take all the king cakes, the varieties, the different brands and put them into one stop shopping? Well, it makes it way too easy to buy two three or four of them. Best marketing idea ever! Worst beating of my diet ever!

The hub had all different kinds of kings cakes from all the local bakeries in one little warehouse. They should offer samples so the buyers can decide which ones to buy. Especially because your going to spend no less than $22 per cake. The best King Cake was the Almond one. Absolutely delicious!!

Heaven really is a place on earth because it is King Cake Hub! While we miss accompanying our visit with Zony Mash, the new location is great and has tons of parking. You will spend entirely too much money on sweet treats but it's worth every penny. Not only is there an excellent variety of king cakes, it's super fun you peruse the non-edible offerings as well.
